Football more than any other sport is a team effort. It takes the entire team of 53 players working together as a unit to produce a winner. This important fact is the conceptual foundation for a site specific sculpture created for the Baltimore Ravens’ practice facility. Made of 53 life size steel ravens the dimensional hanging sculpture stretches over 15 feet long.
When seen from any other perspectives the sculpture appears to simply be a collection of bird silhouettes, but when viewed from a specific point the ravens form a single imposing unit.
